NBA is BACK!!!

Lakers start the season 0-2?  Didn't expect to see them start this bad.  I think the Spurs will win more games than the Lakers and lose first round.  Lakers will get to the Finals.  If Kobe expects to win his 6th ring overall he will have to stay healthy, gel this team immediately and get Dwight Howard to make free throws.  Otherwise it will be another championship year for Lebron or Kevin Durant may win his first.                                                  

With the addition of Ray Allen AND Rashad Lewis, Miami is going to make it look easy this year and win it's second in a row

From April to Orange October the MLB season has gone on.  After 2,430 regular season games and playoff games baseball has a brand new old champion.  Congratulations to The San Francisco Giants for getting the brooms out and sweeping the Detroit Tigers out of the World Series.  2nd championship out of the last 3 years.  Congrats also to the MVP of the Series Pablo Sandoval who hit 3 homers in game 1.  Sandoval went 8 for 16 (.500) over the four games to become the 10th third baseman to win the World Series MVP award.  Party on San Fran!

After 7 weeks of football the excitement continues to build.  Got a whopping 10 picks right with only 3 wrong.  Titans, Steelers, and Bears proved me wrong.

Giants are proving why they are still the champs.  The only undefeated team coming into this week are the Falcons which will come to an end soon but not this week against Vick.  Every team in the AFC looks mediocre at best.

1. Alabama - looks unstoppable
2. Florida - passed a big test against S.Carolina, still have to play FSU though so that question remains

4. Kansas State - won't be in top 5 too much longer unless they beat Texas Tech.
5. Fighting Irish - at Oklahoma next week, then at USC for the last game.  No chance.

Week 7 NFL Picks

In week 6 I got 7 right picks and 7 wrong picks.  Horrible!!  Overall not so bad considering some sloppy play from some teams I picked to win.  Steelers losing to the Titans was the biggest surprise me.  

Aaron Rodgers gets my player of the week award with 6 TD passes.  

Giants get the team of the week award with the shutdown of the 49'ers.  

Eli continues to dominate and Peyton is now starting to pick it up.  Broncos are definitely contenders in the AFC.
