Champion Villanova Wildcats

In thrilling fashion the Wildcats won the championship right at the buzzer 77-74. Ryan Arcidiacono managed his team very well to victory winning Most Outstanding Player.  Marcus Paige tied the game at 74 before Kris Jenkins nailed the game winning 3.  Here are some photos from the game and from Villanova's great season.

Villanova vs Oklahoma

The biggest defeat in the history of Final 4 was handed to Oklahoma 95-51.  Villanova came to Houston and took care of business from start to finish.  The leading scorer Woodard only had 12 points.  Recently named Naismith player of the year, Buddy Hield was held to a measly 9 points.  Nova got a huge game out of the Junior Josh Hart with 23 points 8 rebounds.  For Villanova to come out with it's 1st championship since 1985, Coach Jay Wright will need a strategy to beat the Tar Heels on the boards and need big games from his triple threat in Hart, Jenkins, and Arcidiacono. 

North Carolina vs. Syracuse

 Syracuse was blown off the court by the talents pulled together by Coach Roy Williams.  From start to finish the Tar heels were too much for the Orange.    Kennedy Meeks stepped up for a big 15 points for his team.  The last 2 months of the season this team has gelled together to make a dominant team.  Seniors Brice Johnson and Marcus Paige will have a chance to end their careers as champions 6th for the school and earning Roy Williams his 3rd as a Tar Heel.
