NCAA Week 9 preview, Week 8 recap, and Heisman Race

Week 8 Recap

Its the weekend before Halloween and the College football playoff is starting to look a little scary.  Top teams are falling off and other teams are making their case to be in the final 4.  Quick recap from week 8:

• Bama rolled through the Vols
• Penn State gets their 16th straight regular season victory with 7 sacks from their defense and 3 TD's from Mr. Barkley
• Kenny Hill threw for 5 td's in a victory for TCU
• The Badgers remain unbeaten
• Miami has Michael Jackson on their team! He had 2 interceptions.  The team had 4 before the end of the 1st half.  Malik Rossier threw for 344 yards 2tds in a victory over Syracuse
• Oklahoma State barely escaped the Longhorns in overtime
• Josh Adams rushed for 191 yards 3 touchdowns against the Trojans.  Sam Darnold was sacked 5 times by the Irish
• South Florida QB Quinton FLowers threw for 2 touchdowns ran for 138 yards and a td ina victory over Tulane
• Memphis RB Patrick Taylor ran for 4 td's and WR Anthony Miller had 178 yards rec in their thrilling output victory over Houston

Week 9 Preview

• This week we have the biggest game of the year so far in the Big 10.  Penn State vs Ohio State will be a dandy.  Lot will be deceided with that game.
• TCU have a testy road outing against Iowa State
• Battle of the 1 loss teams:  Notre Dame vs NC State will be a test of 2 similar teams fighting to stay in the hunt
• Oklahoma State has their hands full also going on the road to #22 West Virginia
