Week 13 recap
- The Iron Bowl was the most anticipated game and Auburn stumped the #1 team in the land Alabama. Terryon Johnson threw and ran for a touchdown in the victory. Jarrett Stidham was 21/28 accurately picking apart a really good defense in Alabama.
- Pittsburgh knocked off the Hurricanes holding Miami to only 45 yards rushing as a team.
- Rodney Anderson 4 touchdowns on the ground for Oklahoma while Baker Mayfield leads the Heisman votes threw 3 touchdowns beating West Virginia.
- Clemson escapes their rivalry with South Carolina behind Hunter Renfroe's 2 touchdown receptions
- Jonathan Taylor rushed for 149 yards 1 td in a shutout victory against the Gophers to retain the 'Axe '
- Matt Boesen recorded 5.5 sacks while Kenny Hill threw 3 TD passes in a TCU win to clinch a Big 12 championship berth.
- Ole Miss dominates the Egg Bowl. Fitzgerald had a gruesome injury that pretty much kept the Bulldogs out. AJ Brown 167 yards rec helped Ole Miss seal the win.
- UCF remained unbeaten in a thrilling game that featured South Florida's QB Quinton Flowers throwing for 503 yards TD while rushing for 102 yards 1 TD. UCF's QB McKenzie Milton also threw 4 touchdowns ran 1. UCF remaining unbeaten through the season demands respect for being ranked so low.
Heisman Race
- Baker Mayfield - Will have center stage to showcase his final performance as a Heisman finalist winner. If he bombs he still has a good chance of winning after a great season this year
- Bryce Love - Has had an amazing season while fighting ankle injury. 2nd in the nation in rushing and 16 rush td's. Love has kept his team relevant and now playing in the Pac-12 championship game to showcase his talents.
- Jonathan Taylor - 3rd leading rusher in the nation has kept his team undefeated. I enjoy watching this young man run. Is 120 yards away from breaking Adrian Petersen's freshman rushing record
- JT Barrett Tied for the most wins by QB in Ohio State history.
- Sam Darnold -12th in the nation in passing yards.
Conference Championship Week!
It's win and you're in for the conference championships. Could be chaotic if Ohio State and TCU wins. Gonna be an exciting weekend to decide who plays in the college playoff.
